Greeking Out

from National Geographic Kids

This week’s digital gem is Greeking Out, the wildly entertaining National Geographic Kids podcast series that brings mythology to life with humor, adventure, fascinating facts, and plenty of wonderfully weird details. And despite the name, they don’t stop at Greece! Some seasons venture into myths and legends from Mesopotamia, Asia, Africa, and beyond, giving kids a fun window into stories and cultures from around the world.

The storytelling is laugh-out-loud entertaining, but there’s some serious learning tucked into all that fun. The hilarious Oracle of Wi-Fi jumps in with facts, context, and explanations along the way, so kids pick up mythology, history, culture, vocabulary, and storytelling without feeling like anyone slipped them a lesson. Sneaky. We like it!

Greeking Out began as a podcast, so kids don’t have to sit glued to a screen to enjoy it. Little hands can stay busy while curious minds wander ancient worlds. Later adventures have also made their way to YouTube, so we’re pointing you straight to the videos to make jumping in easy.

Add this gem to their Aneta homerooms and let the monsters, heroes, and storytellers take it from here. 🎧✨

This is screen time you can truly feel good about. 😁
